Fairfax County Purchases Closed Mount Vernon Athletic Club
Mount Vernon Athletic Club in Lee District
I am very excited to announce that the "Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) has purchased the closed Mount Vernon Athletic Club as a first step toward enhancing needed programs and services for the communities in the Buckman Road area on the west side of Richmond Highway in Mount Vernon"

I believe that with extensive input from our residents, the club will be a successful recreation and community center. To make this possible, Fairfax County's Neighborhood and Community Services will hold a series of community engagement forums to gather input related to resources and programs provided.
